摘要：The invention relates to a device for detecting the internal temperature of afoodstuff , with at least one temperature sensor that is arranged in a first housing section, which can be inserted into the foodstuff for the measurement, while a second housing

section protrudes from the foodstuff . The autonomous device further comprises avoltage source , an electronic analyzing unit for checking at least one predeterminedtemperature condition, and a temperature indicator . For precise, especially continuousmeasuring of the internal temperature of the foodstuff during the preparation, inparticular during a grilling process, the first housing section is designed to remain withinthe foodstuff , and for this purpose, at least the analyzing unit and the temperatureindicator are arranged in the first housing section , and the second housing section isdesigned so that information shown by the analyzing unit on the temperature indicatorcan be perceived. The invention further relates to a method of preparing a foodstuff by acooking process, in particular a grilling process.
