摘要：In the prepn. of diphenylamines of formula (I) by oxy-bromination of a phenolether of formula (II) to a 4-bromo deriv. of formula (III) and reacting (III) with a

Also claimed is a method of preparing colour couplers (V) of formula (A; X =R11) for pressure-sensitive and thermographic registering systems: R7 = H or 1-4C alkyl;R8, R9 = H; 1-8 C alkyl; 4-7 C cycloalkyl, opt. substd. by 1-4 C alkyl or halogen; phenyl,opt. substd. by 1-4C alkyl, OH or halogen; phenyl-(1-4 C)-alkyl; 3-6 C alkenyl; 1-4 Calkoxy; 1-4 C alkoxy-(1-4 C)-alkyl; or 2-tetrahydrofuryl; or NR8R9 = a pyrrolidine,

piperidine, (thio)morpholine or piperazine ring, opt. substd. by 1-4 C alkyl; R10 = H, OH or1-4C alkyl; R11 = 1-8 C alkyl; R12 = halogen; NO2; 1-4C (halo)alkyl; amino; mono- or di-(1-4 C)-alkylamino; or COR11; n = 0-4.
