摘要：A method of assembling successively fed paper sheets subjected to a printingtreatment, and groupwise delivery thereof to a following station (2, 3; 202, 203) forfurther treatment, wherein the paper sheets are fed by first transport means along amain transit path over guide means (6 - 9) to second transport means (5a, 5b) situated ata distance therefrom in the processing direction (A1), and are engaged by said secondtransport means for transport in the processing direction (A1), wherein the secondtransport means (5a, 5b) for the purpose of receiving each following paper sheet in thegroup are temporarily driven in a direction (C2) opposite the processing direction andduring the group formation always remain in positive engagement with the group ofpaper sheets, wherein the trailing part of each of the sheets returned by the secondtransport means (5a, 5b) is deflected out of the main transit path (D1; 31, 32).
