Step 1: Greetings (1 minutes)
T: Good afternoon my dear class! Ss: Good afternoon Miss Li! Step 2: Lead in (1 minutes)
T: Today we're going to learn the 7 days in a week. So what is “week”?
Ss: We don't know.
T: Ok. Class, I believe all of us know that,1 year has 12 months, each month has 4 weeks, and each week has 7days.So “week” means-
Ss: Zhou.
T: Yes! Very good! Step 3: Presentation (3 minutes)
T: Look, the first day is Monday(show the thumb)and say: Hello! I'm Monday, the first day in a week. Nice to see you! Then read Monday in rising and falling tone. And write down Monday in the blackboard.
Ss: Read Monday
T: show the other six words just like this……These are the 7 days in a week. Do you like them?
Ss: Yes.
T: Class, do you know? What day is it today? Pardon, then write down.
Ss: Try to answer it. It's Monday.
T: Clever. It's Monday .And, what day is it tomorrow? Ss: It's Tuesday! T: Excellent! T: Have you got it? Ss: Yes!
