活齿波动传动是用来传递两同轴间回转运动的一种新型传动形式,这与电动滚筒的传动方式完全吻合。它由激波器V、中心轮K、活齿架H及一组活齿组成,工作时,激波器周期性地推动活齿,这些活齿与中心轮齿廓的啮合点形成了蛇腹蠕动式的切向波,从而与中心轮形成连续的驱动关系。活齿传动具有结构紧凑、体积小、传动比大、基本构件的工艺性好等优点。活齿减速机输入输出同轴,将左法兰轴、电动机、减速机、右法兰轴同轴配合,从而解决了普通齿轮电动滚筒存在的偏心问题。
