做名词时

rescue

（1）the act of saving sb/sth from a dangerous or difficult situation; the fact of being saved 救援；营救；抢救；获救

a rescue attempt/operation 一次营救行动

2. salvage

（1）the act of saving things that have been, or are likely to be, damaged or lost, especially in a disaster or an accident （对财物等的）抢救

（2）the things that are saved from a disaster or an accident 抢救出的财物

做动词时

rescue

（1）to save sb/sth from a dangerous or harmful situation 营救；援救；抢救

He rescued a child from drowning. 他救起了一名落水儿童。

salvage
